Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2, 2026

Soft-launch note (2026-05): the information you provide through the lead-request form is shared with selected agencies by email only. The SuperJ voice intake service and any AI-call routing referenced below are not currently active in soft-launch mode. The consent text shown in the form at the time you submit reflects what the Service actually does today.

1. Who We Are

InsurConnect ("we," "our," or "us") operates an insurance agency directory available at contact.insurconnect.ai and at insurconnect.ai. InsurConnect is a digital directory. We are not an insurance agency, producer, or licensed seller of insurance. We do not solicit, negotiate, or sell insurance.

2. Information We Collect

When you submit a contact-request form ("Request Contact" / "Direct Book") we collect:

We may also automatically collect anonymous request logs (IP, timestamp) used solely for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver license numbers, full vehicle identification numbers, or insurance-policy claim history through this site. Any such information you share with the agency you select is governed by that agency's privacy practices, not ours.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

4. TCPA / Consent for Calls and Texts

When you click a contact-request button, the page displays the exact list of parties who may contact you and the contact methods authorized (call, text, email, AI-generated voice). Your click constitutes prior express written consent under 47 U.S.C. § 227 (TCPA) for the parties listed at the time of click. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product.

You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, by saying "stop" on a recorded call, or by emailing privacy@insurconnect.ai. When you revoke, we mark all of your consent records inactive and notify the receiving agency.

5. Lead Routing and SuperJ

When you submit a request, we send the lead to the agency you selected. If you have opted in to receive contact from our paid partner agency, we also notify that partner. If you have authorized voice contact, our partner intake service (SuperJ, a brand of Libertas Insurance) may place a call to connect you with the agency you selected. Calls may be recorded for quality assurance and consent verification, with notice given at the start of the call.

6. Paid Placement Disclosure

Some agencies listed on InsurConnect pay a fee for enhanced placement, gold-tier styling, or partner-tier lead routing; others are listed for directory purposes only based on public Texas Department of Insurance license data. Paid placement does not impact the accuracy of your quotes or the agencies available to you. The pricing model is a flat monthly subscription, not per-lead compensation.

7. Data Sources for Agency Listings

Agency and agent listings are generated from publicly available Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) license data, supplemented with web-crawled carrier and contact information. We do not warrant that any specific listing is current. Always verify license status directly with TDI before transacting.

8. Data Retention

Lead submissions and consent audit records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to satisfy federal TCPA statute-of-limitations and Texas DTPA exposure. Recorded call audio (when available) is stored with object-lock immutability and the same retention. Rate-limiting logs are kept for up to 24 hours.

9. Your Rights (Texas Residents)

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Texas residents have the right to know what personal data we hold, request deletion (subject to legal-hold exceptions for active lead audits), correct inaccurate data, and opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@insurconnect.ai.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, and other states with parallel privacy laws may have additional rights and should contact us for jurisdiction-specific handling.

10. Cookies, analytics, and functional storage

Analytics and tracking. InsurConnect uses Vercel Analytics, a first-party, cookieless tool that records aggregate page-view counts using a hashed visitor identifier. The identifier cannot be reversed to your name, email, or any other identifying information. Vercel Analytics does not set cookies.

Functional cookies. We use two small functional cookies that we only set if you explicitly visit a debug or A/B-test URL: card_version (a UI variation toggle) and demo_mode (an internal debug flag). Neither cookie contains personal information, and neither is used for advertising or tracking across other sites.

Funnel analytics. When you interact with elements on an agency profile (such as clicking "Reveal Contact"), we record the click against an anonymous session identifier stored in your browser's local storage. The identifier is not linked to your name, email, phone, or any account. We use this only to understand which features consumers find useful in aggregate.

Lead submissions. If you submit the contact-request form, the information you provide (first name, phone, email, ZIP, product interest) is stored as described under "Information We Collect". The form itself collects affirmative TCPA-compliant consent before any submission.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@insurconnect.ai.

InsurConnect is not affiliated with the Texas Department of Insurance or any insurance carrier or agency listed on this site, except where a paid-placement relationship is explicitly disclosed.
